Speaking of Ippo its been weeks since we've had a chapter , I fully expect a bunch to pop up , which I prefer since lately arcs move at a snail's pace.

It's cause all the parents in Japan want their kids to be the prodigy type and such the kids end up wanting to read about them.
 
Latest Sun Ken Rock : Yumin's reaction was so over the top it was hilarious, still one of the most entertaining ongoing mangas imo.

Latest Tower of God : only out in Spanish right now, couldn't wait even tho my Spanish sucks tbh, kinda disappointed with what's about to happen, would rather have it happen later in the story.

I only read 10 chapters then got disinterested, told you it just didn't grab my attention at all

Hey Guys, I see that Berserk Golden Age is available for the first 2 arcs,..

Anyone know if they are going to make more?
 
LOL... Love Puni Puni Poemi. It's a spin off of Excel Saga (which is built a grand series that parodies everything that was popular up to that time) that was directed by the legendary NABESHIN (Shinichi Watanabe) who's had a hand in many anime series. If you've seen the Japanese dub of Excel Saga, you'll know that the seiyuu (voice actor) that handles Excel is capable of talking at a very fervent pace. I found that the seiyuu that handles Poemi can achieve a pace that makes Excel seem narcoleptic in comparison.

The dubbing isn't horrible... It's just very hard for the American VA to match the pace in dialog.
 
I thought the dub fro Excel Saga prevented it from being entertaining

Dai Mahou Touge is one of my favorite "off the wall" animes ever. It runs a full bait and switch by the time the first episode is over and it never lets up after that.

Ever watch Muteki Kanban Musume? It's kind of in the same vein, just not anywhere near as parody heavy.

Yeah the dub on ES isn't sterling. It could have been better. If you ever pay attention to the seiyuu for Excel go off on some of the episode previews (in the subbed version) it will make your head spin.

Ah ok. It gets better once Ippo earns his pro license. Pretty slow start to the series admittedly.
