Basically he hasn't put on the entertaining performances they look for I imagine.
The guy is clearly really skilled but he doesn't go out there and make statements, just wins.
You can usually get away with just winning at a high level but not putting away competition that's clearly lower on the totem pole than you on the regionals (and not because he lacks power either...just aggression) isn't a good way to prove your worth to the big orgs.
