Anderson's win over Forrest looks even better now

Anderson absolutely devastated Forrest who was just LHW champ and even up on the cards against Hashad before the finish. He was still a top 3, top 5 LHW. A weak champ? Sure but so was Jan

Jan got exposed as a Forrest Griffin level fighter. Jan has far superior striking than Forrest ever did but his grappling and bottom game is magnitudes below prime Forrest. Jan has white belt grappling from bottom. Cannot sweep or get up to save his life.

Anderson made Forrest look like he didnt even belong there. Izzy got outclassed badly 49-46 or 49-45 against Jan. We know realize Jan was never the true #1 LHW just had favorable matchups. 5 of Jans last 10 opponents were fat MWs (Izzy, Jacare, Luke, Santos, Cannonier).

tl;dr prime Anderson>>>>Izzy and prime Forrest chokes Izzy BTW (and hed love every second of it)

Griffin vs Silva fight was rigged.

Griffin was also on drugs admittedly and high off Xanaxe

he dramatically fell failing his own arms and calling a fight off after a jab

he got up and ran out, didn’t let hosting Athletic commission or it’s physician do the post fight checks or follow concussion protocols. Also kinda hard to run full speed out of an arena when you are apparently KTFO

This isn't even MMAth. This is like, theoretical MMA dumbassery.

You're right it's not rocket science - that would actually require you to have provable methodology, instead of rambling from a place of insecurity.

just how bad does izzy s bottom game has to be for jan to made him look like a turtle off his back when Jan him self has been made look like a turtle of his back multiple times by gus glover hell even by freaking patrick cummings Anderson bless

Anderson was ridiculous against Forrest, but Forrest's striking was actually decent. He stood with prime Rampage for 5 rounds and beat him. Yeah, I know some think Rampage deserved the win (he didn't), but it was a close fight either way. He was a little chinny, but held up well on his feet in most fights. I'm not really sure how prime Forrest vs. Jan would go, but I agree with TS that Forrest's ground game was better.

Forrest was on Xanax because he was fighting Anderson Silva.
He probably needed it just to make it to the cage.

Ah yes, glover texeiras win over jan blachowicz really raised the stock of Anderson silvas win over Forrest griffin 10 years ago, because Jan blachowicz is basically a reincarnation of Forrest griffin with a different skill set. The logic is strong in this one
