I agree. That's one of the first times I ever felt like a fighter willingly mocked me for buying a PPV. I thought I was buying a fight.

They both were at fault for how the fight turned out. Throughout the first few rounds, Maia was the one running and not engaging. I still remember Joe commenting on it.

"Demian Maia is just running terrified."

Wasn't very competitive either, it was just Anderson smacking Maia around for the most part.

He's already stated he's going to continue dropping his hands and taunting. He practices fighting with his hands down and he has been practicing it for a long time.
