Well.. that's shit.

As Giovanni Decker, the general manager of UFC in Brazil, told Combate, the former middleweight champion won't fight at UFC 198, in his hometown of Curitiba. According to Decker, the reason was a simple one. There was just not any available fighters for "The Spider", even though there were rumors about him taking on Gegard Mousasi or Tim Kennedy.

Furthermore, Decker confirmed that Vitor Belfort and Ronaldo Souza will be the night's co-main event and even though Silva is officially of the card, he still believes it will be the greatest card in Brazil yet.

there are more than enough available fighters so wtf is he on
- gegard
-kennedy
- Yoel Romero (if hes not suspended)
- Uriah Hall (not sure if hes booked)

You mean, they couldn't find a top 50 lightweight willing to move up in time in order to make Anderson look good again.

No big deal. Even when he's matched up, he doesn't actually "fight".

Patrick cote would step up they have unfinished business

No one wants to get clowned by Anderson.

Even if you beat him he makes you look silly.

I just have to ask since I really dont know..
When did the UFC do that for Anderson?

Yea, how come Kennedy hardly ever fights?
He talks a lot from the sidelines but it's been a while since he was in the cage.

Too busy fighting the war on TRT.

Kennedy would have murdered him; I like Kennedy and it would have been good for him, but at the same time I hope Anderson doesn't destroy his legacy to the average man on his way out of the sport.

Sounds like BS

They want to use him somewhere else

Because he just had that TV show on the history channel where he made pretty good money to not get punched. As of this moment the show is being determined if they want to do a season 2 or not.

He has been busy pouting over that Romero fight. But he did beg Dana for a fight with Anderson after the bisping fight.

He just fought and looked fucking terrible. This guy needs to get off his nuts. Give Silva time to remember how to muster up the courage to throw a punch instead of singing, dancing and playing pattycake before he gets back in the cage.

Then he may be on UFC 200. He still is a big draw and I can see him being in the fight just before the ones for the title.
