I have a friend, no joke, who's mother is a shaman for a native American tribe. Lana herself has shown very unusual abilities herself and to this day I still don't know what to make of it. I met her at a party, where she told me she could sense things about people.

I was in her town (SF) during the weekend of UFC Rio, so she accompanied me to watch the fight. She's a martial artist herself so she was enjoying the night, especially Barboza's kicks.

I always get excited when people get to see Silva fight for the first time, but after the pre fight promo played, Lana had a shocked expression on her face.

She claimed she saw a red, bird-like Demon eminating from Silva's chest.

Lana supposedly has the ability to see things others cannot, and I can't dispute nor verify this. But because of my experience with her, I don't discount anything she says. She said that normally she can't see these types of things through electronics, like tv, but this time she did.

As bold of a claim that was, and she clearly believed it, I was still too focused on seeing silva destroy okami. I told her to tell me if she saw the demon again.

She saw the demon after the staredown, when silva stretched his arms and walked to his corner.

First round, she said she saw nothing. Then when the second began, and silva came out all bouncy, Lana began saying she could see the Demon flaring up! Soon after, of course, the demon consumed okami's soul.

When silva won and bowed to the ground, Lana showed a look of concern. She said that no one becomes that good without sacrificing something, and asked If silva had any family members or good friends that died. I don't know, but since silva is my fav fighter, I prefer to think he never made a pact with the unholy.

I've come to one of two conclusions. Anderson is either akuma, or so damn good he'll make a shamans daughter think you are.

Fact is, there's a fighter in the roster right now with a bird-like Demon on his chest. And since he came in Anderson Silva started losing. Maybe the Demon saw more potential on that guy.
