Anderson Silva probably the best ever(?) but everytime he has stepped in the octagon since 2012 his legacy is being undone, im not saying he cant do it because he looked good against Bisping when he wasnt clowning around, but i mean use your brain man and grind out those W's. If he had taken the fight seriously he would have beaten Bisping.... he knows how the judging system works.... too late to be crying about it now, He ruined his career by messing about during the first bout with Weidman, then the rematch leg break then the steroid abuse to recover then the clown performance against Bisping...... whats next?

He can still do one or two good fights i guess. But not for the title shot. Rockhold, Weidman, Jacare are too big for him

His 1st and 2nd rounds worry me. He needs to do much better footwork if he wants to keep an edge over opponents. His striking is brilliant but he can no longer rely on counters with the way his speed and reflexes seem to be. He can use the tools he have in a smart way and still win big fights.

He should retire.

I can't imagine how badly he gets destroyed by the top 5 MW's

He was the best for a time. He should have retired after the broken tib/fib but now every fight will make him look progressively worse. The big young talent will wreck him at 40 years old. Lost a step and fighters are better in that division. If he doesnt quit he'll just become a gate keeper which is no way for man of his stature to go out IMO.

He should jsut go to LHW and do a few more fun fights.

He looked great in the fight i must say i enjoyed it and we would all be raving about his comeback now if herb had given him that W in the 3rd but he should have known going into the 4th & 5th that he is behind on scores.

(Was it just me or did it look like he hasnt done a leg day since he broke it?)

you forgot having a close fight with nick diaz.

His style of fighting is based on speed and reflexes. Both deteriorate with age, he can still fight but it's just not the same anymore. As a fan I rather see him hang them up, but if fighting is your life do what makes you happy.

Bisping is just about as good a definition of gatekeeper as it gets.

If Anderson couldn't decisively beat Bisping, it might be time.

Of course, it's up to him when he wants to stop fighting.

It's just that, regarding legacy, his claim to GOAT is slipping further away.

Entirely up to him, not you keyboard warrior.

If Anderson even thinks he lost because his "screw popped loose" then it's definitely time to quit while he still has fans.

Hespect to a GOAT.

Despite some hokey antics over the years,

I would enjoy seeing Anderson in some more fights,

There were still some spectacular moments in his fight with Bisping.

He should retire if he can't change his style up. He has the power and the tools but his method's need to change. He isn't RJJ and never will be.

Definitely not the best ever. The only guys he was ever able to clown and get away with were a couple of scrubs at middleweight and lhw. Clowning Bonnar and Griffin isn't impressive. They're p4p the slowest and most unathletic guys to ever fight in their division, literally.

Imo he's just being exposed. His division isn't filled with overblown 170 lb dudes anymore. If he stands against the cage against the current top 5/6 mw's and pretends he's at a rave with those useless hand motions he does, he's getting ko'd silly.
Yeah it has nothing to do with him being 40 and having debuted 19 years ago.

definitely fought better guys than Bisping or Weidman,or Vitor or Dan. I don't know why you hate him so much.Everyone who fought him respected him as a great fighter, but it seems they were only scrubs anyway.Who was the best? Who are your top 5.
