"I talked to him yesterday and he told me that he's still negotiating to fight in Curitiba, and the final decision hasn't been made. He still believes he will fight in Curitiba, and everybody is cheering for that. Imagine how it would be, the first UFC in a soccer stadium in Brazil with the biggest national idol fighting at home. Of course, Anderson would be able to pack that stadium with 45,000 people easily. Either of those could be great fights. Anderson was used to fighting three times a year for his entire career. The last three years, he fought only once per year. Now, he wants to return to the routine of three fights per year, and he feels the opportunity to fight in his home, Curitiba, would be unique for him."

mousasi is way more dangerous than bisping

i mean, probably neither are, since mousasi would play his jab jab jab jab jab jab game

Silva is getting wrecked if he fights Mousasi like he did with Bisping.

Fight would not be competitive and Brazilian fans would have to watch it up close and personal. Someone like Bonnar would be far more appropriate for Anderson "Post Cialis" Silva.

Its good for Anderson in that Mousasi probably wouldn't KO him, at worst he'd TKO him on the ground but more likely jab him to a decision loss. I think its bad though that Mousasi is very tough to put away and at this stage I think a one off big counter is Andersons best chance vs all of the big name MWs. Hall finished him but landed two shots that would probably KO most opponents cold and Moose still wasn't out, not sure even Silva can count on that.

To beat Mousasi most likely he needs to outwork him for a good deal of time.

Mousasi loves calling out older, past-their-prime fighters, so I'm sure he likes this idea.

Sadly, Anderson probably loses at this point. He no longer has the reflexes to play the "hold my hands down, let my opponents swing and make a mistake" game. And Mousasi is a bad opponent to play that game with, since he'll play it safe and jab, jab, jab. Just wish Anderson could've fought Mousasi about 5-10 years ago.

Why bear Anderskn when he's coming off a loss? I think Moose vs Bisping for the title shot makes the most sense.

Mousasi's style is extremely different from Bisping's. His pace is notoriously slow and he rarely pressures his opponents. I think that if Mousasi is content to stand in front of Anderson and have a slow paced kickboxing match as per his usual tactic, then he will be much better for Anderson than Bisping was stylistically.

If this happens, I'll be rooting for Moose.

Edit: I'm not saying that I think anderson should be a big favorite over Moose or that he didn't look out of form against Bisping. I'm just saying that I think Moose's style is better for him than Bisping's.

would be nice to see him keep on fighting as i beleive he is still more than capable of being the mw champion again i dont think about the bisping fight i even had him winning the decision after he knocked him out i mean we all know he was really winning that fight anyhow bisping is alot better than he once was and ill give him that but i dont think people should be doubting silva like they are doing because of his style

Anderson always has a shot but I would favor Mousasi. I would have favored Mousasi 4 years ago too (but not as much) I think he is a bad style matchup for Anderson.

Moose takes this. I can't Andersen winning this.

Silva should retire. His face never showed damage before and he got marked up by Bisping. Bisping.

Im done with Silva........he plays too many games and doesnt fight anymore

I honestly would not pay to watch him fight
