A lot of people talked about how "Silva-like" McGregor's debut was on here.

Certainly got him off to a good start in the UFC. He whooped Brimage's ass. Brimage had a good amount of momentum then too, at the time he was a decent prospect.

Getting a flawless victory against Marcus Brimage is about as impressive as beating my dog at Scrabble.

Yes, it's not like Conor does the same to great fighters.

Shit, he did it in his last fight.

Which I almost did but he got a triple word score with Sesquioxidizing for an unbelievable come from behind win.

In one...the ginger got KTFO

In the other...the ginger was the one giving the KTFO

Before going full #MELTDOWN remember context lad context.

He's just stating the obvious fact that Anderson was put through the ringer by facing Leben who was in the hunt for contention at the time.

Put away the box of tissue lol there's no diss there

***NOOB DETECTED***

Leben was 5-0 in the UFC and in the hunt for contention with wins over Rivera, Cote, etc.

Go learn some MMA lad.

Brimage was 4-0 (edit: my mistake, 3-0) in the UFC with wins over Maximo Blanco and Hettes, both quality prospects and opponents.

On a technical level, it's not even competitive. Brimage is much more technically sound (especially defensively) than Leben was.

I know you love your Brazilian fighters, but try to open your eyes.

CORRECTION* He was 3-0 before proceeding to go 1-6 and get BRUTALLY #REKT in most of those. Not to mention his opponents have .500 UFC records at BEST LEL.

Leben actually went on have a respectable UFC career.

Lol you CASUAL fangirls are absolutely HILARIOUS.

>Be Connie fangirl

>DISCREDIT opponents prefight

>Make them larger than life post fight

Examples:

- "Hurr Durr Mendes is a bloated BW who got REKT by Aldo"

Post Fight: "Mendes is the BEST wrestler to step in Le Octagon!!!"

-"Hurr Durr All-Dough iz a guy who got smacked around by Hominick!!"

Post Fight: "Aldo is MMA GOAT!!!"

-"Nayt is a skinny fat guy who's the LW gatekeeper"

Post Fight: "Nayt is an ELITE WW who cuts down from 6'6 245lbs!!!!"

LOLOLOLOL NOW MARCUS BRIMAGE WAS AN "ELITE PROSPECT"!

The #JOKE of the day.

More impressive than a flawless victory over Leben.

Not really if you consider the fact that McGregor is huge compared to Brimage

Brimage is 5'4 and now fights at 135, not even to mention being on a 6 out of 7 losing streak.

/QUOTE]

Well let's ignore the insecure little bitch inside of you coming out at the end of your post there for a sec,

And you're right, I miscounted. 3-0. Other than that, he had about as many quality wins leading up to that fight as Leben did.

Leben had a better post career, but we're not talking about that, are we? We're talking about the fighters as they were when they faced Silva/ McGregor.

Other than that, the rest of your post is just worthless rambling. It also ignore the fact that his last two losses in the UFC are to an undefeated title contender in Garbrandt, and another prospect who is so far undefeated in the UFC in Rivera.

I'll agree his post UFC career leaves a lot to be desired. But still doesn't really change anything. Your bias for the Silvas is shining ever so clear tonight :)

Notoriously tough as nails Leben vs Brimmage..... kinda speaks for itself. Lots of other guys have had good debuts too

Eh, sure. Leben's also a walking punching bag, has been his whole career, and faced the best counter puncher the UFC had seen up until that point.

I actually don't really care as to who people consider the tougher fighter in their debut, I just think it's ridiculous to think the precision of Silva over Chris "I block all punches with my face" Leben is somehow more impressive than Conor's debut. Neither was an opponent to write home about. Both were respectable prospects in their division, and both got smashed by future all time greats.
