Anders must be a mental midget

Easy, you lose by not being the better fighter, you bitter hater.

the man hasnt won in 4 years before tonight

There was a year and a half break between the Romero loss and the Brunson one so that comment is a bit misleading. It's not like he's been consistently fighting since 2015 and taking loss after loss.

He also fought two of the best of the best (Romero voice: USA what happen to YOU? You the best of the best of the best) in Rockhold and Romero. No shame in getting finished by those guys. So was Weidman and he just submitted a highly legit fighter in Gastelum. But, it should be noted, people were ready to paint Weidman as done too after dropping three consecutive fights against high level competition.

Brunson loss was problematic but Brunson is a great first-round finisher. 11 wins by tko in the first.

Good point.

Lyoto look old AF and and Anders won’t be cracking the top 10 anytime soon.

Both should hang em up.

He is a rookie, and he made the wrong decision to "fight not to lose." He will either learn and get better or not, and get lost in the shuffle.

How do you not beat Lyoto Machida?!

I'm pretty sure he would kick my ass. I don't think I could land much on him. A lot of people couldn't beat him.

I think those early leg kicks messed Anders up a bit, he's still young in his career and had things been slightly different, he could have took the decision, and with a little more experience probably finishes Lyoto at some points in that fight.

Machida's chin being gone is overplayed, look at the guys who finished him at MW, straight killers.

It’s not that those guys aren’t beasts. It’s that Machida did suffer KOs and that does do something to your ability to handle more.

Agree that he should have won if he had a stronger mindset but you live, you learn, you grow.

I was really shocked at how Anders wasn't trying to cut Lyoto off and just follow him around. Which is like a no no when it comes to fighting Machida.

Lol at calling it a break

He was suspended for popping.

Machida is way past his prime, but he isn’t no bodies bitch. Fuck outta here.

It just proves Anders isn’t the next big thing. We kinda all knew that.
