And Michel Periera shut down a prospect

Before the takedowns in the third, I had Khaos winning. He out struck Pereira in all three rounds. With that being said, he would’ve made a bigger statement if he utilized more grappling. Tough fight to call, but certainly showed more of what Khaos is capable of than it did for Pereira. Khaos needs some more polish all around, especially grappling. Pereira... who knows? He has the most unaffective flashiness, and seems to be in love with it. His kryptonite seems to be an effective grappler, I don’t see much upside going up in a wrestler heavy division.

I had a split decision for khaos but maybe the other way. Not a unanimous decision. Oh well. They both fought well.
How did you score a split decision on your own?

On topic, it wasn't an easy win, if I remember correctly, the strikes landed were quite close

Also , Magny vs Pereira, I like it, bad matchup for Michel, Magny is the prospect killer :D

I question the matchmaking, but hindsight is 20/20.

Khaos moves forward and throws bombs. So let’s match him up with a guy who specializes in evasive movement.

meh, maybe it makes sense. I just wanted some chaos!

I know he doesn’t deserve it yet, but your post made me think about Seeing Michele fight Wonderboy..

Khaos was the bees knees when he quickly KOed Moreno and Hassan. Also with that evil stared down

But with all of Peiras tomfoolery he comfortably won. Even almost wrapped up a RNC. It was a strange night
A bald midget beat up Michel not too long ago.

It was smart but Pereira had to panic wrestle Khoas to secure the win.

He was getting beat up on the feet.

Yeah it was weird seeing Khaos as impotent as that. But Pereira is an absolute beast, though. Has Wonderboy-ish mobility combined with explosive power.

But don't be fooled by his goofing around. He is not a risk taker, just like WOnderboy, and is a point fighter fundamentally.

I don't think he won easily either. Would not have surprised me at all to see the scorecards go the other way. I feel in some ways he fooled the judges, lots of "activity" but little substance.

It was a very frustrating fight to watch. I don't think his as good to watch as he thinks he is.

It is true that it was a close fight but Khaos really didn't do much to win either. Yeah it was a shit fight. Oftentimes, putting two top guys together is anti-synergetic. Yeah I just made up the word.

I thought Perreira was lock to win but he made things sooo hard for himself. Khaos is limited as fuck but he pretty much played to his game for two rounds before finally hitting takedowns in the third. I think it was clear he was the better fighter but Khaos might have got those two rounds.

Completely disagree with the bolded, Pereira showed he can get takedowns and and land GnP and finish fights by jumping into a standing RNC.

Khakis didn't show much other than he can throw his hands. He won the standup (slightly) but the hardest guys to hit are probably those who load up their power hand and sit back waiting to counter. To hit them you have to move into range and one mistake can put your lights out.

Pereira should be undefeated or near to it in the UFC, sucks that Diego took the coward’s way out.

Why do you call it panic wrestling? It was smart and looked to be a thought out takedown. He got a choke locked in the end of 2nd round that probably boosted his confidence in having the grappling advantage.

Khaos hit Pereira with some good leg kicks but his punches were mostly glancing if they hit at all. Pereira was either all in close or not at punching range at all, also smart. Pereira outmaneuvered Khaos and landed the harder blows even if it was close (or Khaos had more strikes landed) strikewise.

To me, Pereira showed that he’s more than flash and wasted potential. He’s looked good or even very good in his last two fights, he can really fight and just sprinkle the crazy things here and there. I’d like to see him get a step up.. Someone like Belal Muhammad or something.

I can’t believe there are people who think Kaos won that fight... Extraordinary. I said after his last fight that Michel is the rea deal and nothings changed. He didn’t even go through all the gears in that fight because he never had to. It was comfortable and professional.

Lmao. I'm a dumbass. I should of clarified that I thought it would be a split decision win for khaos. I thought he was more effective and threw more and that one of the judges probably scored the last two rounds for pereira. I didn't think he would get a unanimous decision.
Magny is legit, I'd be excited if they ever crossed paths

Before the wrestling Perira started to get tagged hard by Khoas basic, conventional style.

If Perira thought he was winning or if he was “comfortable”, given his style and where all finishes have come, he would’ve kept the fight on the feet.

Only reason he TRANSFORMED into a wrestler is because Khaos more conventional striking was giving him problems.

I was impressed with Pereira, he stuck to a decent gameplan and took out a vaunted prospect.
