I'm going to say Amy Winehouse, I just find her voice more appealing.
Amy's annoying.
I love Camden, every Friday night was spent there for Peach at Camdem Palace for a long time. She was from Camden.......... Loud with lots of makeup, they haven't changed.....

I think you're quite a bit younger than me but I was on that circuit Friday to Sunday for quite some time. How I managed to get to work on Mondays was mad.Sometimes I wonder if we met, long ago.......![]()

Haha we're actually the same age?! 97ish was my main Peach era with Graham Gold. Love Malibu Stacy and Sunnyside Up where everyone was chasing the E comedown too. Club with an old love bus outside on Saturday nights was a favourite too, I can never remember the name of it.49, nope around your age, would've been in that area at that time.......

Yeah I went there for a sort of rock/metal night which is my jam but there weren't any loved up drug vibes so it lost its thrall.Oh shit, that's hilarious I wonder if we ever spoke in real life...... about some random nonsense off our faces......
Great nights, place hasn't really changed, it's just called something else.......

Honestly, Peach was some of the best times of my life. Doing Full Circle with Danny Rampling on Sundays at The Greyhound was choice too. Again, fuck knows how I managed to get myself into work the on a Monday still chewing my face off...

That would be swellOh they still host good house music DJ's...... If you're ever back in the area you're welcome to join me and my Brazilian girl out for a night....
That would be swell
I know it was a passing phase that only lasted a few years but fun times were had. Camden Palace had many weird changing rooms and actually had a bit of a make out session with Rampling over a few lines. He's a bit of a political nut now but fun at the time.
My housemate who used to drive us up from Bordon, Hampshire in his company car put a Peach sticker in the back windscreen, a few months after leaving the company and handing the car back I saw it outside Tesco in Basingstoke. Peach was like going to church every Friday, we were disciples. As soon as you get that feeling in your stomach..... You'll be back......

What did you think of the Amy movie? I may not have liked her but I enjoyed it.It was one of those things back in the day........ A more innocent time I guess without all the other bullshit that seems to attach itself too life.......
