That maneuver where he knelt on and trapped Magny's arm as soon as he brought it over to try and fight Amosov's hands was brilliant, like he was baiting him into a trap, and slapped on the sub right after
 
He's good, but I don't think he's top 5 material. I think he will be a good gatekeeper for the top 10.
 
He'll make top 5 quite quickly but no further, IMO. Strong addition to a stupidly strong division, though.

It's highly likely he served alongside Usyk, Lomachenko, Klitschko and other famous athletes who "went to war" as part of PR stunt in 2022. They've all have successfully returned to their primary duties since. Unlike many ordinary Ukrainians who get forcibly drafted right from the streets and don't get to decide when they'd served "enough." Even if you're wounded your commander often would be very eager to send you back to action unless you pay him off.

Countries using celebrities as PR during war has always been a thing. You think they were gonna have Elvis kicking in doors in Khe Sanh? I promise you the Ukrainian government isn't going to let their most recognized athletes on the world stage be on the frontlines. And he was still out there, it didn't look like paradise. I didn't see you out there.
