Seems like a good next fight? what do you guys think?

Has Bektic been out injured?

Shame, he had a nice bit of momentum going his way.

I don't think they'll match them up yet. I think like with Choi for Asia, they want to build him up the same as Amirkhani for Scandanavia.
 
Bektic will be back probably around late summer. KZ is returning back in October also.

Amirkhani vs. Ortega ? or Zubaira Tukhugov maybe
 
Makwan has a whole lot of skill but his gas in a 3 round fight didn't look great, Bektic would probably put it on him. I don't see them making this fight, though.
 
Big fan of Makwan. Give him any opponent.

If he's champ material he will win. If not, at least he's a fun character.
 
They gonna give Makwan some can or a guy that was inactive for at least a year.

no they won't, they'll give him someone from top 15 or outside with 3 fight win streak, someone like Tukhugov or Pepey
 
Too soon for Makwan. He needs to address many things based on that last fight against Wilkinson, and even more so if you look at his pre-UFC fight against Adam Ward. I'm not saying he hasn't improved dramatically since that fight, but it still shows certain vulnerabilities that are still present in his game today when you analyze him.

Makwan hit maybe 1 punch out of 30 in GnP and thats not nearly good enough. He did almost nothing from mount (though he got to that position fairly gracefully). He also gave two guillotine opportunities for Wilkinson free. I want him to succeed but he needs to improve seriously to be top 10 material.
