American Football's future.

As long as you can make millions doing it, there are going to be people doing it.

Just add to the mix, Brett Farve doesn't want his grandsons playing football. Bo Jackson is in the same camp.

Ed Cunningham ex-NFLer and ESPN contributor quite reporting on the NFL because of conscious objection. This pretty serious IMO.

You can watch Frontline League of Denial (2 parts) online at PBS.org. The scariest part is the high school team that had accelerators in their helmets. No concussions the entire season but MRI showed decreased cognitive function for EVERY player after the season (pre- and post-season scans).

Yup. Constant sub concussive hits over and over do more damage than 1 concussion.

Tbh, I've always kind of thought this was the case tho ever since I was a kid. It's weird to me this seems like such a revelation to some people.

Yup. International talent picked up a lot of the slack though.

I think that as American talent slowly decreased, Asia, Latin America and Europe went up. If you look at the P4P or champ lists of now compared to 20-30 years ago, there's a lot less Americans.

Obviously that's not going to happen with football so we may be living through the last golden age of talent there.

Its still mostly the poor in those international countries. Obviously they have lots of poor. But when their standards go up, it will be the same.
