American cops notch up another killing

Counterintelligence, the worst kind. It's a fireworks display and all of a sudden Rambo appears with nukes. :icon_lol: Take it easy, you know what they say about those that don't know when and how to use their gun properly.

Do you really have to use a smiley in literally every single post?

This situation was certainly an unfortunate event and clusterfuck in general. That being said, as far the police shooting unarmed people statistics, keep in mind that people who advise that they are armed are equated into that. IE I've got a gun and I'll shoot, then guy reaches behind his back and gets shot. Technically, he is unarmed, but it wasn't perceived that way initially.

Depends on the degree of oppression. If these officers are HITMEN on a mission to murder me or beat me, you bet your ass I'm running.

But if these officers are wrongly arresting me, it's just not worth it, because even if I get away, then I'm DEFINITELY a criminal just for what I had to do to escape.

It makes far more sense to run the gauntlet of the court system and if the oppression is blatant(i.e., if the officers acted outside the scope of their authority) maybe you come out with a pretty paycheck at the end, instead of dead on the beach.

Don't get me wrong, I'm no defender of police states, I'm actually quite libertarian, but even I don't run from the cops. It just isn't worth it.

Appreciate your post. Hearing the full story now-yeah fuck that guy.

This must be why my mother always told me to "never run with scissors".

That was tough to watch.

The people filming it are some of the coldest people I've ever heard. I can't believe that those are the real reactions. WTF.

I agree with "murder".

If a guy robbed your house and was that far away from you when you shot him....in the back... you would be charged with murder.

Total bullshit.

Edit: Apparently they shot him from the side. I still call bullshit.

Cops say he reached in his waistband for a weapon so they killed him?
Video reveals no such attempt to pull a weapon?
Cops caught lying to justify a murder?
No charges being filed against the cop?

is normal....

For the love of god ive answered this read the posts. Im not saying he deserved to die but did he really think running would help anything cops have trigger fingers today so just stop what your doing and listen. Imo if you run fron the cops they should be allowed to pop one your leg.

When cops say bend over BD17032 says "How Far?

and "How do you like it?"

Yes, it's like a period of question mark only those mentally tough can withstand it. :icon_lol:

Oh and here I was thinking you were a twelve year old girl.

This is one of the reasons I am not a fan of bean bag shotguns. They sound very similar I actual gunfire and can be mistaken for exactly that. This is also one of the reasons you are taught to yell "less lethal" or "bean bag, bean bag." Prior to firing, to let others know what they are hearing. We use a 40mm launcher with foam rounds, doesn't sound like gunfire.

Also LBPD and LASO don't have a common radio channel so it's unlikely officers were able to communicate effectively.

Still not a very good shoot.

Oh Oeshon. How you love to ignore the back story.

Compare the story to the video and get back to me.

You most likely didn't look at either of them and just chimed in for a cheap shot. :p

I wad taught something similar to that in the military. make sure you kill anyone you shoot, so they cannot tell their side of the story.

They taught you that for all the gunfights you would get into on ship?

Do you consciously make up shit in an attempt to appeal to leftists?

Why didn't they just shoot him in the legs?

Pigs @ it again.

Contrary to whatever tv has taught you, they don't do that. Once the decision to go to deadly force is reached, you attempt to kill.

Well, this is perhaps legal semantics, but you don't attempt to kill.

The objective is not to kill, but to STOP the threat even if it means his death. The easiest way to do this is shooting "center mass" of the target area (normally the torso) which is the easiest target to hit.

With that said, a shot to the leg can be just as deadly as a shot to the torso if it damages the femoral artery (which is quite likely when using hollow point ammunition). I guess not enough people know that. I guess it should be slightly more obvious that shooting a leg is by far a more difficult target than the torso, increasing the chances that the bullet misses, ricochets, and hits something or someone else. Not to mention it increases the odds that you miss, giving the other guy another opportunity to kill you and continue his crime spree.

Not just American cops, but Southern California cops. Let's just say what everyone knows will happen.

- Cops found lying, put on probation.

- BIG INVESTIGATION will follow.

- A few months go by with these guys on paid leave.

- DA finds shooters acted within reason - not guilty - but apologized to the family.

This is why people love it when guys like Dorner go crazy, these fucks are begging for blowback because when it comes to America, the law is above the law and they paint themselves as heroes.

Oops, sometimes the public does also. Southern California no less.

I should have said it's expected that you can/will kill the person
