It's news like this that remind me why I stopped watching pornography almost a decade ago.

It's not that I think there is inherently wrong with it, but I could never shake the feeling that these people are desparately unhappy and that I am deriving (fleeting) gratification from watching others doing something they don't really want to be doing.

To be honest, I'm not too familiar with any of the current performers. Literally, the last time I rememebr watching pornography was on those old black boxes that descrambled PPV (circa early 2000s).

I do remember watching an ABC (or 20/20) interview with Belladona and hearing some of the abuses she endured on set. That turned me off pornography all together - hearing how many performers resort to drug use to "numb" them from what they have to do left me with a sick feeling in my stomach.

I have nothing against people who watch or make pornography. I would just hope that they are doing it because they enjoy it, not because they have some horrible backstory or drug addiction.
