hello all,
is there an attorney amongst you War Room peoples?
this is one of the most wacky, unbelievable things i've heard of in quite some time;
how can this be and how on earth can Amazon expect to enforce it?
just as an fyi;
1) an 85 mm lens is a classic "go to" lens for portrait photography when using DSLRs (digital single lens reflex camera).
2) an f-stop value of 5.6 is also a sort of default aperture setting for most portrait shooters, in studio, particularly amongst "blue collar" photographers, when using a standard DSLR.
to draw an analogy, it's a little like having a patent on crisp french fries. i'm all for patent and copyright protections (although most here on Sherdog probably aren't, since i assume everyone here downloads copyrighted material with impunity) - but isn't this crazy?

http://www.salon.com/2014/05/09/amazons_ridiculous_photography_patent_makes_mark_cuban_happy/Amazon was recently granted a patent for the process of shooting pictures against a white backdrop...
The actual patent includes extraordinarily specific language. For example, there has to be “at least one image capture device equipped with an eighty-five millimeter lens, the at least one image capture device further configured with an ISO setting of about three hundred twenty and an f-stop value of about 5.6.”
