Amazon prime late delivery

I've been a prime member for at least 2 years and before today had only experienced a late delivery once. It was only one day so I just let it go. Today I was REALLY counting on a package being here, and its late.

I check Amazon and it says "sorry your delivery is running late. If its still not here by Saturday let us know."

They cant be serious right? Saturday? They owe me some Amazon credit but the question is how much do you think I can get? My friend said $5 but I won't accept less than 10. Ill ask to speak to every upper management person every day for months.

This happened to me last week for the first time. I ordered some things for family, and it was supposed to arrive Friday, I got the "we're sorry" e-mail Saturday. I guess it was sent to Kentucky instead of Massachusetts? It is supposed to finally arrive today .

I do a solid 50k a year on amazon and I have had 10-20 packages delivered late.

It happened my last 3 packages. Irritated the shit out me because I was looking forward to them. It has to do with the new delivery system that's like uber for deliveries.

My package was supposed to be delivered on Friday. I got a notification saying delivered. The package was not delivered though. I used the Amazon chat feature and was told I had to wait 48 hours and they would issue a refund. They kept the chat "open" and after 48 hrs I said that I still haven't received the package. They credited my account instantly. The next day I got another notification saying my package was delivered. It was delivered. Amazon said keep the package and the refund.

Everytime my package arrived late it was the wrong item!
It's almost like they see the prime delivery, don't have the item in stock, send some bullshit item so that it arrives on time,
And once I return the item, I don't get the original item for another three days.
I got that month of prime paid for in credit, the customer service is great at least

Im not saying you shouldnt complain, sure you should, I would too....but if after 3 people on one call 5 dollars is all you get then 5 dollars it is.... you are very free to cancel the service
