I'm pretty sure he will get a title shot after a win Vs Arlovski.
Still think Overeem is bad match up for Werdum.

Depends on which version of Arlovski shows up to fight Overeem. If the Arlovski that fought Browne and overcame adversity to boot shows up, I can easily see him KO'ing Reem. Arlovski is so fucking inconsistent though.

I don't know if you're the only one, but I certainly don't think he will. He has to get past Arlovski first. I assume an impressive win over AA will probably get him the title shot, but then he also has to beat either Werdum or Miocic (presumably); there's the possibility that that fight will be a close one and there'll be an instant rematch, or there's the possibility that Cain starches Browne at 200 and they give him a title shot ahead of Overeem. But even assuming Overeem beats Arlovski and fights for the title before the end of the year, he's got a tall task ahead of him whether it's Werdum or Miocic holding the belt; I wouldn't favor him to beat either man.

I think he can do it too. He's looked great lately & I think he gives Werdum his hardest match up considering he already beat him(though Werdum beat him too but that was a longer time ago). But Werdum's striking is way better now... Would be an awesome fight. My two favorite HWs, hope it happens.

Nope, I am on the wagon too and have been for a long time.

It's hard to deny Reem another shot if he beats Arlovski. He is on a win streak, marketable and he is the last man to beat the champ. And I take this version of Reem over Werdum any day of the week*.

*Assuming Reem doesn't get TKO'd by USADA.

No you're not some. Overeem will be champ before 2017. If he beats AA he's getting the next title shot. I think Overeem can beat Stipe or Werdum so it doesn't matter who wins.

Reem is a bad matchup for Werdum for sure. I'm just not convinced he is for some of the others in the division.

Overeem looked really good vs JDS. I imagine Jackson/Wink were super proud of that performance, it was what they'd been trying to do in previous fights but Reem just wasn't up to par with that risk averse style yet. Was sad to see JDS get beat like that, but it was equally impressive seeing how Reem managed to shut his offence down.
