Am I the only one who doesn’t like KO artists like Ngannou?

I don’t mind it, keeps me at the edge of my seat. The suspense will be eating away at me as I watch Gane try and avoid the absolute destruction Ngannou will be bringing to him. It’s like a horror movie jump scare. Is Jason or Michael coming right around the corner as another victim tries to desperately escape? Or is their time in this movie not up yet? Let’s watch and find out.

In a way being a tko artist or volume finisher like prime Jones was is more ideal for ppv

If ya don't like Art stay outa the Gallery...

I agree with some of your sentiment, OP.

I relish the Just Bleed Gods blessing us with wars where battles of skill AND attrition take place. Fights that show what their hearts are made of.

But at the same time I don't think that makes Ngannou or any other KO artist any less exciting.

After all, these are the reasons why KO of the night/year exists aside from fight of the night/year; you're probably not going to see an 8 second, 1st round-KO get a FOTY nomination.

I think Gane will win, but I know Francis could KO anyone who makes a mistake.

Most people seem to love big KO artists like Francis, but I always leave their fights feeling ripped off. Like, I don’t wanna pay $75 for this card (which is really one fight I seriously care about) and see Francis bum rush and windmill KO Gane in 8 seconds. When it happens I always end up thinking “that’s it? It’s over… wasted my money.”

I want wars like Max, Jiri, Gaethje, Usman/Colby, etc. A Francis fight will always either be a flash KO or a 25 minute session where he gasses and stares. There aren’t any fun back and forths in his fight and it’s either a quick KO or boring drawn out decision loss.

This is why Francis is not a fun ppv fighter despite being the greatest KO artist in MMA history. As always, thanks for attending my TED talk.
Bet you would have hated when Mike Tyson headlined PPV’s, as well.
I like KO’s no matter if it’s 1 second into the first round or the last second of the last round.

I might be a complete fringe cooky looney casual newb retard, but I love myself a nice brutal KTFO!

I feel more cheated if a fight goes the distance and there is no clear cut winner.

I'm not paying for this shit with a mentality that it cost so much a better get every possible second worth of fighting. I'm in it for the excitement and want to see things happen.

I honestly like whatever style is most imposing and effective. If you can fight like Machida and never get hit and always win (well when he did), or if you wrestle like Khabib and always takedown someone, or Ngannou and KO everyone you touch, it makes it exciting. Ngannou has more power with speed at his size than I've ever seen and it doesn't even seem fair for opponents. If Gane can out strike and avoid it then good on him.
