Lets face it the guy is short and pudgy. Im looking at the pic with him and the AKA guys and Khabib is bigger than him. DC was smashing HWs that had height and weight advantage. Now he's smashing LHW, lets be honest DC is greatest we've seen and if he was a legit 6 ft he would handle JBJ rather easily in my opinion.

The reason Cormier is able to slam people like he does, is because of his short stocky frame. Its much easier to grab a single leg when you are shorter than your opponent, especially up against the cage, and that's DC's bread and butter.

There are a lot who are very impressed with DC including myself. He has his share of haters but everyone has some.

DC is more impressive when you realize how truly great Jon Jones is. That division was in a state of constant flux, with the belt changing hands practically with every title fight, until Jones came along and shut it down. If Cormier entered the picture then, and Jones didn't exist, DC would have dominated and would probably be considered one of the greats. The problem is - Jones does exist and his existence makes DC seem beta.

He'll lose to Jon again and then probably retire. If he doesn't retire then we'll see how great he is but he won't be Jones. What I should have said in the post is that he is not a real champion, he has never been the best guy at 205 so how can he be underrated? He lost to the champ decisively and then turned around and got to fight someone else for the belt. He may hold the belt but he isn't champion and never will be unless of course I am wrong and he beats Jon and then yes I have underrated him more than any other champ in UFC history.
