In this case it really is true. I went from the disgusting, nauseating spectacle of seeing my alma mater lay an egg with an NCAA Tournament spot on the line to seeing the absolute worst possible result for WMMA on top of that to Conor losing right when I felt like just giving up on sports altogether.
