Recently on twitter Eddie Alvarez let out that he is training for an upcoming bout and included both dos Anjos and UFC 200 in his tweet. This would be an awesome championship fight to say the list. Eddie lost clearly second and won clearly third. I believe Pettis won 1st (but close), since Alvarez did nothing with his wall n stall & takedown, Pettis actually did some damage in first round

3 split decisions in a row is what he means, even though Cowboy decimated him. Pettis actually had one judge score it for him because Eddie literally threw like 5 punches in the whole fight.

The paid big money for eddie and they need a ROI for him. A couple wins and a title fight was always going to be his path. Same w/ giblert. You can't pay the kind of money they're paying for those two and not have them be main events and co-mains.

I agree that if they want that then it makes sense to pair RDA with Alvarez at UFC 200 and not to risk that the winner of Khabib/Ferguson could be holding the LW belt before Conor gets gifted a title shot.

On paper RDA is the "least unfavorable" match-up for Conor. Khabib would literally throw McGregor into the second-row seats and as for Ferguson he has godlike chin. Plus we've already seen what happens when Conor doesn't fight midgets. RDA is the shortest of the trio, so at least McGregor can trade with him.
