Yes RDA got rocked and took some heavy shots, but he was still in the fight. I think he could've weathered the storm and made a come back.

Then he would have wrecked Conor.

Oooooooh yesssss. Let the hate flow through you!

Regardless, it was obvious Alvarez was gonna win.

What's the point of this thread?

Yeah, but after seeing the damage taken before the final barrage that could influence the ref.

Ugh logic. Facts don't matter. This is the Trump era.

Nah seriously you do make a good point. Plenty of unanswered punches.

Don't agree that he was definitely going to win, or beat Conor. But that is an early stoppage, considering he's the defending champion in the main event in what is supposed to be a "real fight".

If someone takes 20-30 unanswered blows to the head the fight should be stopped.

Early stoppage? Looked like Eddie fucked him up good enough to me.

So being a defending champions mean the ref lets you get beat till you get brain damage ? RDA was done and was never recovering. That stoppage gave him more life in his career.

I think he was drained too much to take those punches. RDA is a warrior but I dont think his body was cooperating.

RDA would mollywhoop Alvarez if they ever fought again.

I tend to agree, although it can go either way.

Dos anjos was out of it, but he was lucid enough to shell up if he wanted to.

Lets not pretend that tapping to strikes is the only way to tap to strikes.

we see dudes on the ground in the fetal position, covering up clearly done taking a crazy amount of unnecersary punishment all the time.
