RDA already destroyed Nate and it didn't get him paid like he was anything special. Getting people interested in you as a character is what generates fan support and big dollars. Ftfy. Diaz didn't make big money because he beat Conor - he made big money because he agreed to fight Conor at Conor's request - provided he was paid well to do it.

He will make big money in the rematch because he beat Conor, that's for sure. And good on him. But ultimately his big payday happened because he fell under Conor's halo.
