Whooaahh. Eddie not holding anything back. I like his perspective that he feels like the best LW's need to destroy Conor and Nate so that they all can get paid like those two. He specifically brought up himself, RDA, and Cerrone as the guys who need to take care of them.

I'm sure that they will get their chance. WAR EDDIE!!!!!

RDA already destroyed Nate and it didn't get him paid like he was anything special. Getting people interested in you as a character is what generates fan support and big dollars. Which is probably what Alvarez is trying to do here, can't see it working though. Sounds like more of the tired "blah blah gets paid heaps and I deserve a piece of that" rhetoric.

I hope Nate Diaz gets a shot at him. Nate has a good chance to tear him apart, especially in a five rounder. Alvarez is trying to get a piece of them greenbacks.

I wonder if his dislike of Nate is awkward for Edgar, being that Edgar and Nate have trained together and are fond of one another.

Conor and Nate are terrible match ups for Eddie.

Is that from the Helwani interview?

The Diaz bros always had a huge following and growing.

They have way more personality and outspoken.

Eddie has none of that.

Still worth a try. For all of Nate's following he didn't earn shit until he destroyed Conor.

If Nate beats Conor again I wouldn't be surprised to see him fight Alvarez for the belt, maybe have RDA/Khabib on the same card for the next shot and a potential replacement?

Ftfy. Diaz didn't make big money because he beat Conor - he made big money because he agreed to fight Conor at Conor's request - provided he was paid well to do it.

He will make big money in the rematch because he beat Conor, that's for sure. And good on him. But ultimately his big payday happened because he fell under Conor's halo.
