all you can eat has always sounded terrible to me. overeating is never fun. plus, you know all you can eat food is absolutely terrible, and they pay pennies for the stuff. it's a much, much better option to go someplace with quality food and pay a bit more. if you want a lot of food, go to the grocery store and make it yourself. i never go to a restaurant based on the amount of food they provide lol. seems like a terrible idea to me.

Whilst true, most of the food on the regular menu in most places ain’t of a much higher quality outside of the top end places.

Had a surf n turf with a Châteaubriand and full lobster with missus last week.

Whilst excellent, and a worthwhile occasional treat, paying $200 for it seemed bonkers, when you can get a literal bucket of fried shrimp, squid, fries, chicken etc down the road for 25.

Whilst you know it’s probably low end, covered in batter and sugar sauce, fuck, it’s tasty when you’re in the mood.

Back in my early 20s when I was a poor sack of shit my friends and I would all go to Fazoli's when they had bottomless pasta bowls. 6 or 7 of us would take turns filling up the bowl and eating for a few hours. The restaurant was run by a bunch of teenagers so none of them cared one bit. Pretty good deal if you could get away with it.

We tried the same thing at Ci Ci's Pizza but it only worked if the restaurant was slammed and there were too many people to keep track of.
