All of Khabib fights looks like a sparring session

One thing I've noticed when watching Khabib fights is that it feels like he doesn't take his opponent seriously, it doesn't look like he was using his full form to beat his opponents. It looks like he was just training and messing around with them so we never saw Khabib unleashing his full form.

In short, he treat those fights like a sparring session and takes it lightly to avoid a stoppage/KO so his opponent can feel humiliated round by round.

That's why I don't understand why fans get a huge boner whenever they announce Conor vs the one trick pony. You just know it very damn well that Khabib will just put him on floor with little effort and toy with him for 5 round.

I don't know, the MJ and Iaquinta fights looked like serious bludgeonings to me.

Als face looked like he had been ran over by a truck.

That's why we need to see him against either:

- a guy that's known for having great wrestling like him so he doesn't have an easy way out (someone like Tibau but with better striking)
- a guy that's known for being super dangerous off his back so that Khabib has to worry about the submission threat and is forced to work

I think Kevin Lee fits the description of the first guy, and Ferguson/Ortega the second

Khabib against Alvarez is going to answer a loooot of questions.
Logically, there's only three fights that we're looking at inolving Khabib:
1. Most probable one: Khabib vs #1 contender Eddie Alvarez
2. Khabib vs McGregor (The fight everyone wants to see)
3. Khabib vs Ferguson (I doubt the UFC would ever dare match them up again)

Any one of these is fine for me.

He is condescending with his opponents when he has no ill will towards them. Wait when he fights McG...

TS doesn't know what he's watching, lol.

Yeah right, stop watching Dragon Ball Z

So we haven't been blessed with 100% Khabib…

alvarez doesn't belong in there imo , i dont know why he is held so highly. people try to rate his wrestling but he's mainly a brawler. how u gona keep up in grappling when all the time you training and fighting like an alcoholic

Khabib talking to dana while giving Michael Johnson the worst beating of his career was something else.

How is Eddie the #1 contender when he's only beaten 1-2 Justin Gaethje after being mauled by Conor? Needs at least 2 more wins

He is fighting Poirier at the upcoming UFC Calgary event. Most likely if he wins he is going to be given a title shot regardless of the rankings. It was just my opinion that he was going to get bumped up at #1.

Eddie Alvarez is the superior striker, has a good chin, good solid wrestling base and one of the greatest TDD percentages in UFC history.
Khabib would have a tough time striking with Eddie. His only shot is pressuring Eddie to the cage and getting the takedown from the clinch, which is the only way he could take Eddie down, and even that I cannot see.

The upcoming fight against Poirier will show us where Eddie's at, mentally and physically.
