All of a sudden 32 is old for Conor and Prime for Dustin

Only people who're dishonest (mostly to themselves) say this.

Conor was as sharp and accurate as ever and his cardio was as one would expect it to be after adding a bit more muscle to his frame.

Dustin beat a pretty much in his prime Conor, simple as that.

People claiming Conor is too old are just grasping at straws.

Na he wasn't as sharp as ever, he may have been in good physical shape but his timing has a bit off, he still won the round but missed a lot more shots than he normally would.

We've been down this road with the Fedor fanboys before. You know the playbook when you lose your fighter is washed up and if the fighter who beat them was the same age or older you just ignore that.

Missed a lot more shots than he normally would...

He's fighting guys his size, reach isn't as big of a factor than it did at 145 against a Manlets & 5'7 Alvarez.

Conor aged out of fighting shape by drinking, cocaine, and lounging around his yacht. Conor looks like he lifted some weights and his fanboys got erect and thought that meant he is in peak physical condition again.

Dustin’s probably had more accumulated damage in his career too. It comes down to motivation and prep.

And genetics. People age at different rates. You need only visit an old-folks home to see that. Some 90 year olds have aged better than some 65 year olds. Some people age so badly they die of natural causes in childhood. Others live with good health to over 100 years. Or talk to a doctor, and ask if all their patients at a given age are at the same level of physical health -- they'll look at you like you were crazy. Believing that all fighters will have aged the same at age 32 is odd, given all the evidence surrounding us showing how differently people age.

Besides that, most damage in MMA comes in training, not in actual fights. That says something about how stupid most MMA training is (imagine an NFL, MLB, NBA or NHL team where half its players got injured in practice -- the coach would be looking for a new job very quickly).

Having said all that, in Conor's case it does come down to motivation and prep. But often its simply genetics or bad luck (bad training accident for instance).

By the way Conor is not fully focused on MMA anymore. I remember that about 2 years ago he stated that fighting was his third income. He his now running a billion dollars value business.

Unlike Dustin who has nothing to do except training and living his family man life.

conor was living off the coattails for too long. him not being active and fighting so irregular is what brought him down... nobody even remembers who eddie sanchez is now or his run at fw which was ages ago. cockfighting is a game where people only remember what somebody has done something lately and that's it.

Yep, the nuthuggers' bullshit knows no bounds. They even make excuses about him looking like an old man "Oh but but but, taht's what getting punched in the face for a living does to you!!!" conveniently ignoring the fact that no other 32 year old fighters look anywhere near that old, including Poirier, who looks 15 years younger :D

Not really the same with Fedor though.

Dustin was training and cutting his teeth against elite competition while Conor was (allegedly) ripping lines of blow and acting a fool. He’s also had numerous knee injuries
