Soccer players actually get injured a lot and some get CTE. Baseball, golf or tennis are the way to go if you have a choice.

I would be Federer or Djokovic in Tennis. Very wealthy guys, and playing tennis is fun also. Very little chance of breaking bones.
 
i don't really think they're acknowledging soccer's "greatness". they're just acknowledging that they get paid a lot more for doing stuff that isn't as brutal.

Americans will never like soccer over NFL/MLB/NBA. those sports are inherently American, while soccer isn't.
 
Neymar is overrated and football salaries are overblown

It's not sustenaible.
Now EPL teams are burning 200 millions for unknown cans with a diva attitude.
not so long ago higuain HIGUAIN was bought for 100 million euros.
Oil money clubs are not getting results and neither are the chinese.
Football is supposed to be a local grassroots sport with some superstars spread out don't turn it into a joke like the NFL
 
Neymar is richer, better looking, more famous, doesn't get punched in head for a living...
