The champ is back!
and he is about to dominate incomplete Stipe Miocic, defend his belt for the second time and make it an unprecedented 7 wins in a row. Miocic is good, but Werdum is the more experienced and complete fighter, excellent orthodox Muay Thai, volume, accuracy, speed, range, timing he is going to dominate Miocic's limited boxing-based attack and ruin his edge-of-punching-range game. In the clinch Werdum will have an even greater advantage with his plum and Judo trips, and obviously on the ground Stipe will be out of his depth entirely.
I am not making a prediction on how Werdum will win because it could happen in a variety of ways. If anything I would favour an easy UD. But Werdum will definitely see off this unworthy challenger and then we can see the real battle for supremacy against Overeem.
