This fight makes perfect sense to me. Both guys are undefeated, young, have similar physical stats and both come from two of the best mma gyms. The winner will then be on his way to contender status.

I don't like this fight because it gives one of them there first loss on there record. Two upcoming prospects that have rolling momentum will come to an end.

Why make the only two prospects with great potential fight each other? thats just dumb.

Good fight! I think Alemida has the tdd and bjj here to do well and his standup is stronger no question.

Especially when one in Sterling is so obviously farther along in his development. Almeida should be looking to get 4 fights in the next year against journeymen with different skill sets to get seasoning and the UFc and his management would see that as the smart way to go. 40+ plus shows on FS1 the UFc should use that TV to focus on building up prospects.
