It's a fun fight that I'm pretty sure most people would like to see regardless of ranking. Also by having them on the card if something goes wrong with Aljo and TJ they have another top fighter who can step in. Same as Dariush vs Gamrot being on this card.

Well this is obviously assuming Sterling beats T.J.

But to answer your question, my guess is April/May.

No other clear-cut #1 contenders, Merab said he'd never fight Sterling, and Dana said that even though he didn't want to make an immediate trilogy fight, he thought Yan won the rematch. With Aldo out of the picture and Chito still needing a top 5 win to make it to the big show, Yan will obviously be next.

It is possible, but I'd be a bit surprised if he gets it with just a win over Sean. Not a ton surprised, but yeah a bit.
