Econoreem's clinch isn't as dominant as Horsemeat Reem's was.

His highlight reel from that position has gone down several levels. He had one good knee against Mir and several against Nelson but a stoppage in neither fight. Overall he's had alot less control of his opponents there as well and couldn't budge Rothwell.

Thats true but hes still better, stronger and more dominant with the clinch and knees than Gus is even as econoreem and Rothwell is a monster, way way bigger than DC.

Current Reem actually should do much better than the old version that blew up his gastank in the first rounds.

I would go with Overeem, Cormier hasn't looked as good since he got leaner. if he was fat Cormier again then I imagine he would beat Overeem.

Overeem has always had really powerful knees. Pretty sure he can still (T)KO people with them.

I still think DC beats any HW not named Werdum, but Overeem would be a tough fight. Daniel would have to rely heavily on his toughness in the first couple of rounds. Take downs will likely be hard to come by in the first and second rounds, as Alistair's tdd is really good, but if he continues to push the pace and fight for take downs, he should wear Overeem down by the third round. I got DC by KO/TKO late in the third round.

DC gets destroyed. A lot of people are really trashing Brock's skills and takedowns. Overeem would have a significant striking advantage over Cormier, he would have huge strength advantage, he has great grappling himself (has been grappling since he was a teenager), has good takedown defense. And Brock never managed to take him down yet Brock took Cain down (the best wrestler in the HW division).

DC would lose to Overeem, and JDS, and Stipe, and Werdum, and like Browne. Cormier is easily one of the most overhyped guys ever at HW. As a LHW though he is legit.

I don't agree with this at all. I think DC would make this an ugly fight. I think DC would just pressure the fuck out of Reem. I don't think Reem can keep up with pace DC fights at.
