Alistair Overeem 40th birthday party

Is he the fighter now with the longest history in MMA that is still fighting with the UFC? I bet he is. His first fight was in the 90s and he never took a break from fighting. That’s pretty crazy. He’s now been fighting for more than half of his life!

One of my favorite fighters. Incredibly skilled and well rounded

It's my 40th birthday tomorrow too. I didn't realize Reem was the exact same age as me. Old bastard:D

Not to the photo op but the after party for sure.
Most definitely, he’s good friends with Perosh

I remember from the other night hearing an announcer say something about Olienik has the longest fighting career of anyone currently on the UFC roster, with fights in 4 decades now (although I guess 'Reem will join him tonight in that accolade).

The Spanish have a perfect term for awesome dudes like that: "Un perro viejo" (an old dog)

Finally hitting his HW prime.

I can't see how a 36yo youngster like Walt has much of a chance

War Quatrovereem!

Reem is one of the few that I'd be very sad when he'll get CTE from all the punches he took. I know, roids, I clearly felt and tap, etc...but war Alistair.

Alistair Cees Overeem (17 mei 1980 / May 17th, 1980)

His most famous fight to date versus Bo Jeuken:

The only simultaneous Triple C
- Strikeforce HW Champion
- DREAM HW Champion
- K-1 World Grand Prix 2010 Champion

Wow, Reem and I share a birthday.

The night he fought Bret Rogers in Stikeforce.

I'd take that version of him over anyone at that time. He was straight up scary and huge, holding dream and SF belts just won the k1 grand prix.

That version of him was fuckin crazy. Its also cool how he got off the juice and still stuck around proving himself.

Oooh shit

Reem's daughter will never have sweat in her eyes

No worries - if she gets his height when she grows up, life will be like...

I bet his next contract will include a $1 million to show and $4 million for the fight, plus endless supply of horses fed to him on the daily.
