Man I like Aliens but I think it is overrated. It’s a good action movie but I don’t really see it as a classic. The Thing is a classic.

Alien vs The Thing is a much better comparison imo. Especially since they’re both more horror and suspense

Aliens just barely.

This. The closest of possible contests. Both are classics, with superb writing, performances and direction. I choose Aliens simply because I've watched it more times.

I'm a huge fan of Kurt's and this is one of his best performances.

The Thing vs Alien would be a more accurate comparision, still prefer both over The Thing, love The Thing but it's a bit overrated.
