3 New Images from ALIEN: COVENANT Including the Gruesome-Looking Neomorph

The first image shows the gruesome-looking “Neomorph”, chowing down on a hearty meal. The Neomorph was inspired by Scott’s fondness for nature documentaries on living nightmares, like goblin sharks. “Some of those nature videos are so stomach-churning that they don’t pay me enough to watch them,” shudders Covenant screenwriter John Logan. “But Ridley will see something to do with insects swarming, for example, which eventually finds its way into a movie. Usually there’s some sort of grotesqueness we find interesting.”

The second image shows Michael Fassbender, returning in one of his dual roles as the android David (“My first question was, ‘Do I get paid double?’” Fassbender quips in the issue), in what appears to be a flashback with Weyland Industries CEO Peter Weyland.

The 3rd image show a mysterious figure on the Engineer’s planet,, unleashing pods previously seen in Prometheus.

So they go to a planet, stumble over some alien eggs, get attacked, most die but some get back to the ship but turns out they're infected, one person survives and fucks off back home.....possibly carrying the alien spores with them? Does that about cover it? I fucking hope not.

Did you want something cool? Yeah, me too. Like Prometheus without them forcing it to suck at every turn.

I thought it was Earth as well but it is allegedly the Engineer's planet in the 3rd photo according to Empire.

Yeah she isn't exactly a major star like Charlize , so the added exposure would have benefitted her greatly. Maybe she was put off by the criticism and also personally was critical of the Prometheus script??

I haven't rewatched Prometheus since it came out, so please someone remind me. Did Shaw ever find out that David was responsible for infecting her boyfriend and her with the alien bioweapon?

Because her putting him back together and entrusting him to guard her cryo-sleep only makes sense if she didn't and attributed everything to Weyland.
