aliens = fallen angels = demons
Alien means strange.
Jude 1
5I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.
6And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
7Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after
strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
The flesh the people of Sodom and Gomorrha were "going after" was the flesh of angels or celestial (strange/alien) flesh.
1 Corinthians 15
39All flesh
is not the same flesh: but
there is one
kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes,
and another of birds.
40There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial
is one, and the
glory of the terrestrial
is another.
41There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for

The angels spoken of that left their own habitation came to Earth and were strangers (alien) to the inhabitants of Earth. They are kept in everlasting chains under darkness until the day of judgement for the same offense as Sodom and Gomorrha were destroyed for.
I find it interesting that the Bible never explicitly states what offense these angels were guilty of but later in Jude 1 Enoch is mentioned and if you are familiar with The Book of Enoch you know what the offense was.
Jude 1
14And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
15To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard
speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
16These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling
words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.
The Book of Enoch chapter 2
1Behold, he comes with ten thousands of his saints, to execute judgment upon them, and destroy the wicked, and reprove all the carnal for everything which the sinful and ungodly have done, and committed against him.
I think it's fitting that Jude is the book before Revelation as it returns to the beginning of the story in the allusions it makes to the O.T. and Enoch which are the reasons for Revelation taking place.
