David Michael Jacobs (born August 10, 1942) is an American historian and recently retired Associate Professor of History at Temple University specializing in 20th century American history. Jacobs is particularly well known in the field of Ufology for his research and authoring of books on the subject of alleged alien abductions.

Cliffs:
- It's a physical experience, not purely mental.

The three pillars, according to Jacobs' research.
1. Inter-generational. If someone is an abductee, almost certainly one of the parents has been one, and their children are likely to be as well.
2. It's global. It's not a just a US phenomena. The earliest case Jacobs mentions took place in 1957 in Brazil. The supposed abductee was Antônio Vilas-Boas.
3. It's clandestine. They do not want us to know what they're doing.

Jacobs concludes that the phenomena is being done with one of the obvious goals being hybridization. He does not feel, due to the secretive nature of it all, that the end game is "good".

From what I gather there are more than one species of alien involved, although the Greys may be an advanced AI of sorts. The Greys are overseen by a mantid looking race, which Jacobs assumes to be the ones calling the shots. But if you pour over a bunch of cases you'll also encounter stories of The Nordics/Pleiadians which appear human, albeit rather good looking by all accounts.

Interesting stuff from a psychological perspective, even if you do not buy the idea of actual alien abduction, interaction, and visitation. There are tons of stories of supposed abductions to be found on YT for those interested. Please share your thoughts.

One random story from YT:

Alien experiencer Steve Boucher shares 2 incredble stories of close encounters with aliens he had as a child and as a teenager: (1) A UFO stopped Steve and his father on the road one night and one of the beings took his father onboard the ship while another alien sat with Steve in the car for about 20 minutes keeping him company until his father returned. Steve was about 4 years old at the time. His father confirmed the story in later years when Steve asked him about it, saying he "thought it was a dream." (2) Steve and his band are abducted when driving home from a gig. Four of them are taken on the craft, told to take off all their clothes, and are given a series of tests. Before taking off, the aliens told Steve he would forget this whole incident, which he soon did, but later remembered it in full detail through hypnosis.

The aliens from the above encounter I believe are what's referred to as the Solipsi Rai, and assumed benevolent race with an appearance similar to a Grey, but they are not the same.

Never done it. Could you expand on this? I don't see how it ties into abduction specifically, but I have heard that many users felt that they'd encountered intelligent beings during their trips, perhaps inter-dimensional in nature.

There's definitely something to this. I still can't believe that some alien race would travel vast distances through space and then experiment on humans and animals in secret. As I grow older, I'm more convinced that this phenomenon is demonic in nature, not extraterrestrial.

I dont know if you guys remember when hacker Gary McKinnon hacked in to NASA/DoD/Army/Navy/Airforce and revealed details about the non terrestrial officers, ship to ship transfers, and other information, showing that there is a secret space force in operation with ships owned by the US.

Well, on high doses of tryptamines you encounter aliens. Maybe those guys who experienced alien abductions just have a different brain chemistry.

Several speculative and yet untested hypotheses suggest that endogenous DMT is produced in the human brain and is involved in certain psychological and neurological states.

I too believe Bob Lazar. What do you make of Phil Schneider?
He claims to of had attempt on his life and later died in bizzar circumstances.
