Sorry, but I disagree.
Reporters should be held accountable if they lie or pin someone with a bad light purposely.

If anything, Ali has an obligation to protect his fighters from being put in bad light by bad reporters.
This is NOT something they should simply accept, much less thank for the (bad) publicity.

Edit: full disclosure, I have no idea what is Ali complaining about (Nor I think it matters!). I am merely speaking in general.

Instead they could tackle the root of the problem which is the UFC who could:
1. Abolish weight cutting, introduce hydration testing like ONE FC and not risk the health of their fighters plus these stupid who can cut more weight and have more size advantage games.
2. Strip inactive champions like Conman and Khabib.
3. Abolish win/lose money which makes fighters point-fight their way to a decision and fight not to lose instead of fighting to win.
