What's Ali gonna do? Take his fighters to another organization? Force them to hold out? Half these guys need to fight to pay the bills, Ali is a good agent but he isnt fucking Ari GoldAli controls their best fighters. ESPN and UFC need him more than he needs them. Not a fan of him, it's just facts.
Never trust a dude with a head like that
So were do His fighters go to in protest when threstening to leave UFC? Right, nowhere. Ali has not that much leverage.Ali controls their best fighters. ESPN and UFC need him more than he needs them. Not a fan of him, it's just facts.
Sorry, but I disagree.tough spot. big fighters get spoken about. and both fortunately and unfortunately for Ali- he has many big fighters, and they will be talked about. all free press is good press- ali should celebrate the publicity of his fighters instead of trying to control narratives.
I agree, but that was Adriens mistake.Oh yea ESPN will do all that to defend one slimy journalist who works there. They just recently buried the biggest NBA reporter because of a simple cuss word. If they feel even for a second that Ariel is causing lot of problems they'll kick him out in a heartbeat.
Nobody threatened to leave. They just wont be doing non-mandatory media obligations with ESPN. Completely different situationsSo were do His fighters go to in protest when threstening to leave UFC? Right, nowhere. Ali has not that much leverage.
If he tries a powermove and wants them Change the org he is done.
Sorry, but I disagree.
Reporters should be held accountable if they lie or pin someone with a bad light purposely.
If anything, Ali has an obligation to protect his fighters from being put in bad light by bad reporters.
This is NOT something they should simply accept, much less thank for the (bad) publicity.
I’ve asked this in here and in multiple threads, yet no one can provide anything. I understand he likes to ask fighters tougher questions, but I’m still waiting to see where he has bashed a fighter without merit or lied to anyone.I'm open to the debate if you can provide one lie that ariel has told about his fighters.
im also open to the debate if you can explain how subjectively calling ariel a bad reporter has any value to the argument.
i do agree with you, however, that Ali has a right to protect his folks, and more managers should.
but saying "put in bad light" or "bad reporter" are subjective speculations really gets us nowhere without evidence and facts. but this is an opinion board after all, and you are entitled to it.

Yeah I agree. He’s the best in the game IMO.people just don't like ariel and they emotionally express it here. i too, have not seen unbiased evidence that the man is a liar or bad reporter. he does do more instigating than anyone in the business, and he does ask uncomfortable questions- but those are a testament to his style rather than his ability
And no one will care about thatNobody threatened to leave. They just wont be doing non-mandatory media obligations with ESPN. Completely different situations
Ariel will. On a personal level. Dude is more insecure than Dave meltzerAnd no one will care about that

He will but who cares about that. Ali is a pathetic bully , Ariel a whiner.Ariel will. On a personal level. Dude is more insecure than Dave meltzer
Sorry,
Are you telling me Ariel NEVER lied?
Are you telling me Ariel NEVER started shit by pinning a fighter against another?
Are you telling me Ariel NEVER did something blatantly wrong that he was not supposed to do (hint: that's how he was banned from the UFC at some point).
It seems to me you just don't know Ariel then...
Besides, it seems you missed my edit on the other post. IDC about this specific issue. I was talking in general, so demanding a specific example defeats what I wrote.
