Media Alexey Oleynik: "There are always 2 ways: forward and back. I choose the first one."

How can you not be a fan of Aleksei? Guy is probably 10 years older than most of the fighters in the UFC and is also more active than most of them. Almost always entertaining, too.
20 years older than most UFC fighters...If most UFC fighters are in their 30s

I usually don't complain about fighter pay since I think its pretty decent in most cases in the top 10. But a top 10 guy with like 70 fights having to borrow money when he can't fight for a few months is just sad. Oleinik also doesn't seem like the guy who blows all his money on sports cars.

He has 5 kids.

But still, he'd earned 210k check in January.

Even if he actually saw only the half of it, him having supposedly no money at all by April is worrisome.... Dunno what is going on.

If he only knew Derrik needs no air to function =(
War Oleynik!

Respect to Oleynik. Kicked the Nazis out of Stalingrad.

Still almost a million in the last 3 years. Guess he does have some expensive hobbies.

He's a completely undersized HW in his 40s with some of the most sloppy looking striking, yet he finds ways to get it done. Respect to Alexey, he's a complete beast

Big respect to him, I used to watch him a long time ago, he was a MW back then, he was MW for 95% of his career, he is only at HW because he is so old and slow now, he would get put into a coma in MW UFC.. but he is a master on the ground. He is a very cool cat. I would like to see him fight Struve next
