Furthermore, the states that tried to remove him from the upcoming Presidential ballot were overruled by our SCOTUS. They found in favor of Trump.

You're comparing that to arresting someone, seizing his person, throwing him in prison, keeping his whereabouts a secret from the world, then killing him while he is detained.
