I may disagree with her on a lot of things, but like all elected officials I will give it time before I judge her. If she sticks to her guns, and continues to fight for what she believes in I will give her the respect she deserves even if I still disagree with her. If she turns into another 'toe the line' politician that caves to party pressure and gives up quickly I will burn her appropriately.

As for now, it's to early to judge her based on how well she does at her job. I think she has made some horrific blunders (whomever said that photoshoot was a good idea needs to be fired) and said some dumb shit, but she is literally a public service rookie. I say give her time to cut her teeth in Washington then praise or blast her appropriately.

No one has any idea what “smart” actually refers to, specifically. It’s an illusion of superiority rooted in bullshit evidence.

Paul Ryan isn't great, but I think a lot of her criticism comes from the fact that she says dumb shit. He certainly got more credit than he deserved, but that doesn't mean that she should too.

You want to explain the means you used to determine who was smarter or was it you just agree with her.

Whether or not you like her politics (I think none of us do), she's right about this. She's been getting the strangest attacks lately about things that really make no sense. A lot of former politicians and talking heads have really embarrassed themselves by going after her for irrational reasons.

THe difference between her and Paul Ryan is that Ryan's family had long time political connections. So he's always been tapped and trained to eventually enter Wisconsin politics. He was marketed this way most of his life. She's actually the more impressive of the 2 since she didn't have his head start in terms of connections with the family name.

They've got a similar undergrad background - political science vs. international relations. So, her complaints do have the ring of truth to them. There's nothing to suggest that Paul Ryan is anymore politically adept than she is and plenty to suggest that she had to work harder to achieve her results.
