A short-notice debut KO against Beneil Dariush saw him go from non-existence to top of the food chain.

He looked very impressive doing it. But being a relative newcomer he really hasn’t paid his dues yet to get offered anyone above him at #12.

I say, he needs to fight any of the budding stars who are trying to enter the Top 15 like, Mairbek Taisumov who currently has the longest KO streak in the UFC. It kinda makes sense to me.

Another KO and he's in line for a title shot.

Such is the state of the UFC these days

I honestly don't understand why Dariush was even ranked that high after his last couple of fights and losses.

If this was women’s 145 he”d get a title shot from that win.

Justin Gaethje is 1-2 and in the top 10. Eddie Alvarez fought for the title with a 2-1 record.

So, interim, interim title shot next

Woah, woah, woah. You may be jumping the gun.

How many followers does he have on social media?

Fucking lol.

Dariush is easily a top 10 type of guy. I hought he had a high ceiling but he just doesnt have the athleticism needed, even though he is skilled.

Lol at UFC rankings they're a joke rankings don't mean shit outside who the ufc wants you to think is good

I agree with this, he also has bad luck. Goes on a random run beating some decent guys and then loses usually by ugly KO and starts the cycle over.

Funny how 155 seemingly went from massively stacked division to....who the hell do we give the next shot to division.

Thanks dork Tony and felon Conor.

Dariush is a solid win. I'm going to keep quiet until his next performance. Guy looks tst.

Dariush is a very skilled opponent, definitely a legit win no matter what way you look at it. He should fight someone lower ranked, but he deserves his position.

His finishing instinct gets the best of him too. He got tired against Dunham for spamming those heavy shots, props to Dunham he defended well.

And got kneed by Barboza for not properly setting up the TD. Barboza has ridiculous timing when he's at his best.

this is why i can never agree with rogan on his opinion of rankings..

hes pretty set on the idea that, if you beat #3 u become #3... wait, what about ur past fights?? NOPE! dont matter

i do believe there should be a good amount of value/weight placed on ur latest fights, but its not ONLY that

EDIT: nate diaz is ranked at lw?? wtf??
