That's my feeling as well. That video could easily be from after the fight. Or it could be a video from years ago.

Ank certainly didn't seem to have any bruises on his ribs at the weigh-in, and he was moving just fine.

You’re not going to get a very balanced discussion on this because:

1) Poatan is very popular
2) Ankalaev is very unpopular
3) The nature in which Pereira won
4) The recency, hype is at an all time high

My personal take: We’ve seen what it looks like when Ankalaev gets his gameplan off and we’ve seen what it looks like when Poatan gets his gameplan off. Poatan’s success was more definitive, but I don’t think he runs through him every time like that. His path to victory was to mog him early and he did. Ankalaev’s was to slowly chip away at him and he did the first time.

I think a third fight looks quite a bit different from either of the first two. Not suggesting who would win, but I just see it likely playing out quite differently. But that’s going to be a controversial take because of the factors mentioned above. But I virtually guarantee we will not see a third fight ever.

I think even a non-buldozer Poatan is a favorite if he fights like his normal self. I say that cause his first 2 low kicks already made Ank change stances. After 2 rounds that leg would be done. If Jan could chew that leg, imagine what Potaton can do.
