Media Aldo was scumbagged by UFC

The UFC doesn't score the fights.

They gave him a lot of titles. Sometimes it's business and McGregor was the A side.

I don't think they treated him bad. He was always a king.

Just a veterans wing. You could have all sorts of fights and they could be stuffed in the main card. I guess UFC found it's better to grind them down to give newer fighters wins for their long term business. Just think anyone who follows the sports knows it's not the same guy.
 
Lol this is a joke right? He's pretty much had anything he wanted at FW.
 
I can't believe Aldo moved down and we didn't get to see him against Cruz, Dillashaw, Cejudo or Fig. What a utter fail.

the lack of rematch with conor was bad enough all by itself. in an era when they were handing them out like candy, one of the all-time goats finally loses and gets ignored, because it doesn't fit in with the agenda. that was kinda the beginning of the end for me, i think, i was watching it rabidly before that point and it tailed off afterwards. the coddling of conor just got a little too wwe.
 
I wasn't a fan of his matchmaking at all during this last run but he chose to come back and fight again with the UFC
Nobody forced him to do that, if he really felt slighted he would've fought somewhere else
I think his relationship with the UFC is probably much better than bitter fans realize

I sent the same thing to an old training buddy who keeps up with the fights too.

Absolute travesty they didn’t do ANYTHING for Aldo. It could be as simple as they had it planned and in the can for Smith. But hey someone had to have had a little anticipation that he might call it.

Didn't Aldo just say since "retiring", that he asked the UFC not to have him fight older guys, "legends" like Dom Cruz. Aldo said that would signal to the fans that he was just coming back after his first "retirement", for a farewell cruise (pun intended), instead of coming back and down to BW, to make a legit run for the belt. Aldo has admitted that the recent matchmaking was his doing as much as it was the UFC. Find other ways to signal your virtues, rather than whining about things Aldo has no problems with.
 
With 7 title defenses they never gave him a rematch with Conor hence he was on the shitlist.. Example Usman, Adesanya all got rematches with just 5 title defenses it means the UFC never quite liked him. Anderson Silva also got a rematch. Normally the UFC gives rematches to long serving champs but I can honestly assume that the UFC probably never warmed up to Aldo
