Aldo vs Stephens - who do you got and what's the fight to set afterward?

So who do you got taking the "W" and how? Also a dumb question about what fight to set afterward, but with T-City in the mix and currently having gone through the missed opportunity of fighting for the strap, what's next? Does the winner of this fight get a shot at the title, in your eyes, or does the winner fight Ortega, does the winner wait for the winner of Ortega vs Holloway?

Stephens is on a pretty good roll as of late I think he catches Aldo with a bomb early in round 2.

However if Aldo goes back to throwing those nasty legkicks (finally) he could take a decision.

I almost want Stephens to win via KO just to call out Ortega or possibly leap frog him. Aldo I think beats him though but he'll have to wait and hope fro Ortega to beat Max.

Aldo lost to all time great fighters in Conor and Max.

Stephens isnt anyhere near that level.

1 bomb could end it, and Aldo's defence isnt spectacular, but I expect Aldo to win an easy 30-27.

As for next fight to make depends entirely on what happens with max holloway. Id do winner vs ortega for interim, but i guess ortega isnt accepting anything besides title/max or he would have taken the fight. lol

I think Aldo will handle him easily. I like this fight but I don't want it to have any implications on the top of the division, I don't think either are serious contenders. Unless Aldo shows up completely renewed, even then I think he'd need another win to get back in the title picture.

i think Aldo will be on the defensive for a bit, connecting here and there. Enough to tire stephens, then hopefully go on the offensive and bring back his legendary leg attack.

If all planets are aligned, I think T-City vs Holloway would be ideal with the winner of Aldo/Stephens gets the next title shot.

If Holloway is out for an extensive time, then do the winner of this fight against T-City.

I understand that T-City didn't do the popular to some fans and Dana's liking by backing out of anything but a title shot at the last second, but I don't think he should be forgotten in the title discussion. He's earned it. So either a scheduled interim fight, nothing last minute, or if Max is ready to bang, let 'em, bro.

Stephens has a nice 3 fight win streak but he was 2-5 in the seven before that.Not that any of that is why I see Aldo winning,I just think Aldo is the much better fighter but could get caught.Stephens has looked great lately though,but I think he gets outclassed.What an intriguing fight As for next idk, they'll do whatever they do and i'll watch.Hopefully Max is healthy and fights Ortega.

I think aldo will squeak out a decision. If Stephens wins give him a shot after ortega, if aldo wins I would say he still needs another big non title fight.. hell I'd like to see him try 155 out.

I have no idea how this fight is going to turn out, Aldo seems to have lost what made him great, mainly those leg kicks as they help measure distance and set up other strikes as well as getting into the head of his opponents. Obviously Aldo is still talented but on the other hand Stephens has seemed to step his game up a bit and has looked pretty vicious in his last 3 fights. This is a good match up right now, I think if Aldo can keep the distance and make the fight go the distance he has a good chance at winning, and I think Stephens needs to look for the KO with his aggressive power strikes. Seems like it should be an exciting fight and I hope it doesn't disappoint, personally I'm pulling for Stephens as I like his recent aggressive approach, it's nice watching a fighter actually show how bad he wants to win.

I think Aldo still got this. He looked pretty good against max for the first two rounds. His head movement was amazing.
