Aldo to be cut?

people are talking about Tony getting cut after two losses but what about Jose Aldo he has three losses in a row possibly for will he be cut?
 
Outside of the conor fight who has outclassed Jose - even that was just more about Aldo getting mind fucked in to being overly emotional and running in chin first.

Tony has been outclassed 2 times now and a few of his biggest wins were because of "accidental" fouls that changed the momentum of his fights he was losing.
 
I think it's a real possibility. From purely a competitive standpoint, it makes sense to keep him around, but he's an aging fighter who makes a lot of money. If cutting costs is what they want to do, then it makes sense. As a fan, it would be a bummer, though.

To be fair, Yoel had only lost to elite fighters and was very competitive in all of his losses as well. And he still got the axe. But I guess that probably had more to do with his attitude and the type of fights he was asking for. I can't imagine Jose getting cut any time soon.
 
Aldo will get the BJ Penn treatment. He has a long way to go till he reaches BJ Penns losing streak providing he fights once every year or two like usual. If he decides to fight 3 times a year, i give him two years and Dana gives him his walking papers.
 
I'm sure they might consider it if he loses to a jobber like Cheetos Rivera.

I think Big John McCarthy said something about Tony getting cut, don't worry about it
Reasoning was Tony is getting older, won't compete for a belt anymore, and doesn't get along with some of the higher-ups
Tony's not getting cut
 
They can't use him to fill up Brazillian stadiums any more, so Dana probably doesn't love him as much. I could see him getting cut if he gets finished. He would be like 3-7 in his last 10.

I don't think they can use anyone to fill stadiums now
 
naw we still feel a bit sorry for Jose's decline. probably watch him fight 1 more time.
