Aldo proved with his victory that he still is the best featherweight in history. Guy has a champions mentality and it can't be denied. Former champs like Hendricks have fallen off so bad that it's impossible to tell if they'll ever be back. The pressure was on Aldo and even if you were a die hard Aldo fan....you can't pretend you were not worried about him against Edgar. Edgar Ko'ed the guy that took Aldo to the limit, 5 fight win streak with wins over top 5 comp, teamate won the LW belt, and riding a huge wave

Aldo just got wrecked by McGregor in 13 seconds, questions about his chin, the people chirping "USADA" the last 8 months. This was Aldo's fight to lose

What a great storyline, Aldo now is 100% guaranteed to rematch Conor. And with Conor potentially facing a 2nd loss to Nate Diaz...Aldo will have the confidence advantage.

Can he beat McGregor and avenge his loss? Impossible to tell, Conor might win again. But it's gratifying to see him put the quick KO behind him

I don't think Aldo is guaranteed to fight Conor, though. The UFC will probably want him to do Conor's work and take some other fight if Conor wins against Nate. I hope he doesn't take it.

Aldo style tonight reminded me a whole lot of how Floyd Mayweather fought.

He looked better tonight than he has in years (and he's looked like a killer for years).

I thought he was cautious, be he tagged Frankie hard a lot, Frankie is just tough as nails. And Aldo obviously didn't want to end up on his back against him.

Well put. I was worried but Aldo proved that his style is hard for Frankie to deal with, he simply circles out so fluidly and hits you on the way.

I won't be one of those dummy's claiming they know the outcome of fights, but if Aldo fights like that I can't imagine him not doing well against Conor.

Tentative-No Translator Aldo is coming for Conor's belt.

He fought "not to lose" so no I won't be giving him any respect. He lost and Edgar was robbed.

Featherweight GOAT and a great person apart from fighting. Glad to call him my favorite fighter.

He's a brilliant fighter, you aren't a champ for all those years by fluke. The dude is a phenomenal and the next McGregor fight might just be a bit special.
